I started practicing Yoga  30 years ago as a way to alleviate stress.  I continued to  

enjoy a regular practice throughout all the stages and phases of my life and it has  served me well .throughout all the stages and phases of my life.

I began to realize and experience the multitude of both the physical and mental health benefits that this activity had to offer...to anyone , regardless of their age, state of health, or body. 

 

What I have learned without a doubt is that yoga is not just another form of exercise.  It is so much more. 

At Simply Yoga I offer a variety of classes including private classes from my home studio or, if you wish,  in your own space for private classes or groups.  Perhaps a group at the cottage?

Whether  you have never done yoga or you're a beginner or an advanced practitioner, there is a  classes for you.

At Simply Yoga I am committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community of yoga practitioners, for an affordable price.

My classes make it easy for you to practice yoga by modifying the poses with props like blankets, blocks, and bolsters (all provided) to make each pose accessible  and safe to every client.

I believe that yoga is a powerful tool for improving physical and mental health, and my goal is to help you achieve a greater sense of peace, balance, and well-being in your life.

For 30 years now I have had the extreme pleasure of teaching yoga in all its different forms and in many different settings. I now teach from my home studio in the village of Bobcaygeon. My favourite kind of yoga now is a slow, gentle and kind version.  A yoga that is both relaxing and stimulating and steeped in mindfulness and awareness. One that recognizes an ever beautiful, albeit aging body and all of its’ various needs. One that knows the value of the body and mind connection.
